E-bike Survey Report - What children and young people said about e-bikes and safety

‍ ‍Ahead of the NSW Government creating new laws for e-bike safety, the Office for Youth heard from over 230 children and young people aged 11 to 17 to understand their views and experiences of using an e bike, either as a rider or as a passenger.

We wanted to understand why young people use e-bikes and find methods that could improve safety for young riders and passengers.

The survey findings are intended to inform the NSW Government about young people’s views and experiences, and to support the development of e bike regulations that are safe, fair, and practical for everyone.
