What is a bike bus?
A Bike Bus is a fun, social group ride that follows a planned route with scheduled stops, allowing people to join along the way and travel together safely by bike. The route showcases some of the Illawarra's most scenic coastline, taking advantage of the region's popular shared path network that links many beaches and communities from the northern suburbs into Wollongong.
The ride is designed to be social and inclusive, with a relaxed pace suitable for riders of varying abilities. Bring water, a helmet, sunscreen and your community spirit as we demonstrate how cycling can connect people, places and local destinations across the Illawarra.
Cost: Free, except for your pre-purchase of a Theatre Ticket
Distance: Approximately 18 km
Ride Style: Social Bike Bus / Easy Pace
Bookings: Essential
Optional: Early drinks and dinner at Wiseman Park Bowling Club (opposite), Gwynneville.
